Hotel Giannino

I wanted to give 5 stars but I found 2 major problems. We stayed 3 nights and everyday we told them to cook the pasta more and every time it arrived uncooked. The other problem I had was the internet. It is very difficult to connect to and everyday you have to reconnect to it as the connection only lasts 24 hours. When I mentioned it I was told that the problem was my laptop and my phones. Apart from this, top marks.

Despite the high visibility on booking and trivago, the hotel offers an experience below the obviously low expectations. The position in relation to the sea was appreciable, although the beach service was not included in the price for the bed and breakfast option. The rooms and their services are disappointing: the air conditioning, managed centrally, is not adjustable and is gasping day and night. The room has no balcony and is poorly acoustically insulated, but cleaning is regular and the well-stocked welcome kit is also appreciated. The variety of the breakfast service can be appreciated, despite the limited quantities. The self-service coffee machine is eternal in its ethos and often malfunctions. The hotel is located on the very busy coastal road, in an area outside the center where shops and clubs are about a kilometer away. The worst thing about the holiday was the impossibility of protecting yourself from passive smoking. The corridors were often invaded by the smell of smoke coming from the rooms without taking into account the discomfort in the open spaces and in the dedicated beach area, paid for separately, where the deckchairs are so close and the habit of smoking is so widespread as to force one to stay much of the time in the water to breathe. Absolutely wrong choice, which will certainly not be repeated!
